This was my subject choice to paint today... A pooch in need of a smooch from it's owner.... Would be hard to resist this face for me.

Well today I spotted a photo of this pup on Pinterest... Too adorable to pass up...fell in love with this dog with every brush stroke I made. I think his or her name is Jewel ... not sure... But the name certainly fits!
My fourth Teddy bear this month.... This bear needs a hug...I tried to paint him or her bear in a lovable manner...a feeling of softness... What I got here is a ... very lonely looking one.
My second toy bear painting today... I am enjoying doing a few of these... I like paintings to have a
feeling of a time and a place... It's what I will try to do with this series of toy bears.
I decided to do a series on this delightful subject...remembering when this toy did not need batteries to move ...light up.. sing...talk... or teach ... Just offered a warm hug when needed...and that was enough.
Love the way a tie looks on a male dog ... Makes for an interesting painting subject.

So I painted this from a photo using my choice as to what to add and what to leave out.
What drew me to paint this scene was how cute his paw looked getting ready to jump out!
Finished this one late in the day.. It was a joy to do... I set it in the corner of my studio to dry... Gathered my three pups and took a nap with them on the couch too!
I had many titles for this painting .. But chose this title because this scene is played out many times a day with my three Yorkies!
