I was inspired to paint a blue eyed pup this morning....from a photo.

Today is my try again with a tea cup but ...The painted grape was changed to a Fig as and after thought...I do like it better.

Freckles

When I was around five or six years old I became aware they was a tied up Spaniel in my back yard!...fell in love..it was my Dad' s dog before I was born...my first look at a dog ever!...I took care of him ...we were fast friends..this face I painted today is what I saw every day in my dog named
Freckles.

Happy wet nose

I started off slow and careful with the values with this one.
i love learning new ways of manipulating the brush to catch what I want for the end results!
I am very please with this try.

Second try painting of shaggy dog....to capture a better likeness I think...still not sure yet which one I like  Better...I favor this one I believe....yep...this one.

Retriever with Red Bow Tie

I painted this one from someone's family photo posted on line.
This Golden Retriever was attending an outdoor wedding all dressed up...proud of his red bow
and outfit...loved it!

A Golden's Nap

Loved painting this Golden Retriever in a nap with a full belly.
Had to do this in a larger size than 6x6 ...so this is a 12x12 in painting.
